Your Role:

  • Define & lead the vision, mission & strategy of the MERAXIS IT in close collaboration with the CFO and the IT Steering Committee.
  • Lead and develop IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation and digitization and digitalisation within MERAXIS.
  • Accountable for strategic planning & strategy execution across all IT functions; hands on coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization;
  • Key contact for all IT aspects on company projects; in close collaboration with related IT service providers within the REHAU IT.
  • Lead and guide implementation and operation of technology and digital solutions, systems & tools.
  • Drive strategic and operational governance processes of the business organization including managing the change.
  • Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
  • Manage, coach and inspire direct reports, colleagues as well as internal and external customers.
  • Overall accountability for KPI Dashboard & Reporting.

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience in transforming fast growing organizations beyond administering IT and relevant support services.
  • Strong and proven expertise in similar roles, ideally with experience within the trading or chemistry/polymer industry.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and proven track record of accomplishment of accomplishment of leading and developing a team and various projects, sucessfully.
  • Solid technical background in developing a future oriented IT environment landscapes (infrastructure and applications).
  • Demonstrated success leading and deploying major IT solutions and projects, especially in a SAP S4 Hana environment but also in significant digitization and digitalization projects.
  • Self-driven, communicative and out of the box thinker.
  • Master’s degree in computer science (or equivalent).
  • German and English fluency is mandatory.
