We are currently recruiting for an

Head of Commercial Finance EMEA Center (m/f/x)

to join our team based in Basel, Switzerland.

The Head of Commercial Finance in the EMEA sub-region is the primary business partner to the Head of Commercial, collaboratively driving profitability and delivering annual goals in the sub-region wholesale sales organization, and across the omni-channel markets (eCommerce and own stores).

In this position you are responsible for the sub-region’s financial processes, starting from overall short- and mid-term financial planning to performance insight and investment cases, together with your direct team.

Your Impact

• Delivers all regular and ad-hoc actionable commercial insight to stakeholders (Head of Commercial Finance and FP&A (direct), Head of Finance & Senior Management team (indirect)) supporting overall business management & decision-making.
• Acts in partnership with Head of Commercial, and all other channel leaders to deliver all committed and stretch business performance targets in the stores, eCommerce and wholesale channels; proactively driving insight, supporting and challenging business assumptions, proposing alternative courses of action.
• Responsible for aligning regional financial planning, forecasting with market sales and operational plans. Works with regional FP&A team to validate and adapt top-down planning.
• Focused to achieve appropriate balances of short and medium term financial planning; and investment efficiency/utilization (ROI for internal projects, business cases).
• Manages a team of direct reports supporting commercial outputs and delivering to regional financial objectives.

Who you are:

• Proven track record of 6/8 years in managerial FP&A / controlling functions
• Experience in international, cross-functional and multi-cultural eCom, retail and/or wholesale environments of consumer/lifestyle products
• Ability to partner with business leaders to drive business results and change
• Excellent relationship, negotiation, and communication skills with stakeholders across all levels
• Strong proven leadership and people management skills
• Resilient, proactive, persuasive and determined in an agile, cross-functional environment
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of Hyperion reporting and planning system
• Working knowledge of accounting concepts / principles
• Business/Economics Degree
• English (fluent); any additional European language is an advantage
