As our Head of Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) Communications and Science & Technology (S&T) Marketing, your role will be to develop and implement a clear global Fragrance and Beauty division communications strategy which is consistent across all external and internal communication platforms and integrated within the corporate communications strategy. In parallel, you will also lead the Science & Technology (S&T) Marketing activities globally to promote fragrance technologies internally and externally

As our Head of F&B Communications, your core responsibilities will be to:
  • Determine the key external communication themes and develop advertising, website, social media and other strategies to support them.
  • Work with senior management on internal communications strategy to support divisional priorities, change management and key organizational announcements. Manage internal communications through Givaudan intranet tools, webinars and management meetings
  • Coordinate and participate in key external events and global meetings (e.g. World Perfumery Congress, ACI, Senior management presentations, major client meetings)
  • Work with regulatory and corporate sustainability teams to develop fragrance and beauty division external communication strategy on regulatory affairs and sustainability
  • Lead and Manage the Fragrance Communication team, coaching and developing them to deliver effective, creative and inspirational communication material
Also as our Head of Science & Technology (S&T) Marketing, your core responsibilities will be to:
  • Lead the S&T Marketing activities globally, preparing and implementing a marketing vision and strategy and play a key part in launching Science based technologies, internally and to the market
  • Manage the branding and trademarking of our new technologies in a consistent and coordinated way
  • Help to manage customer and internal events related to promoting our fragrance technologies around the world
  • Lead and manage the S&T marketing team, coaching and developing them to deliver effective, creative and inspirational marketing material

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing or scientific discipline preferred
  • At least 10 years’ experience in Strategic Communication and/or B2B or B2C Marketing roles in Fragrances or related industry.
  • Proven marketing skills and understanding of B2C and B2B marketing
  • Technical understanding and aptitude for understanding technical concepts
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills in English – ability to convey information in a compelling way
  • Able to think strategically and implement strategies effectively on a global basis
  • Creative Approach
  • Interpersonal skills, able to lead, influence and engage a diverse network of people from different regions, cultures and functions
  • Fluency in English essential, French a benefit
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing people
  • Action oriented and responsive, with highly efficient priority setting
This role will be based either in Geneva or in Argenteuil/Paris.
