Your field of responsibility


Join us as a Head of Customer Desk in the translation unit and contribute to ensure the multilingual communication within our international Bank on a global basis. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating a pool of translation project managers and all related activities including Vendor and Client Management topics. Your objective is to implement and closely monitor L&TS allocation strategy by managing L&TS’s single point of entry for all language services requests while taking into account risk, cost and quality requirements as well as resource optimization targets. You support the Translation Technology sector by contributing on continuous improvement of the usage of technology with our clients and within the team, working on business development, integrating new services according to clients’ needs and optimizing L&TS operating model. You contribute to a strong client orientation, partnership and performance culture within the team and aim to anchor and position Language & Translation Services within the bank.

Your skills and experience


We are looking for:

  • University degree, translation technology studies an advantage
  • Solid linguistic background: in German and English we expect very good oral and written skills. French, Italian and other languages are an advantage.
  • IT knowledge: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with translation tools ( CAT, TMS, MT ) and xml, scripting, developing are an advantage
  • Project Management experience, organizational and leadership skills
  • Positive attitude to team work, proactive and structured approach, strong client focus, ability to handle with different challenges, genuine interest for learning and acquiring new skills
  • Experience of interdisciplinary and international collaboration
  • Knowledge of banking and/or Credit Suisse is an advantage
  • Understanding of the value of diversity in the workplace, dedication to fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life so that people from all backgrounds receive equal treatment, realize their full potential and can bring their full, authentic selves to work
