Are you a leader in the digital world and looking for a meaningful role?In this position, you will lead the Digital Strategy Chapter that is part of the Digital Excellence (DEx) team within Global Product Strategy. The Digital Excellence team is responsible for enabling and enhancing Roche’s customer-centered digital strategy for launch excellence and engagement with customers by unlocking the value of digital through data & customer insights. The DEx team will serve as an agile expertise hub to amplify ideas and outputs that address enterprise-wide topics such as digital customer experience strategy; digital marketing channels & techniques; digital content strategy, digital solution development & management; marketing automation; personalization; digital marketing technology tools and platforms; and digital collaboration / community platforms. The team will also play a major role in elevating digital knowledge / skills and building a community across global functions, within prioritized affiliates, and to guide the wider Enterprise.The Chapter will be accountable for collaboration with targeted therapeutic area stakeholders to develop and drive best in class digital launch excellence, as well as collaboration across all of the DEx chapters to ensure the insights, expertise, and outputs from each chapter contribute to successful launches. Additionally, the Chapter will drive the digital engagement strategy for each of Roche’s disease areas that will achieve greater market penetration and competitive advantage for Roche through digital customer engagement.You will partner with leaders across the portfolio within Roche to identify business needs that shape their strategy, including transition to a more networked engagement approach in collaboration with above-country and country stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional leadership to develop success measures for digital launches. In addition, you will oversee the coordination of cross-portfolio customer touchpoints to provide a seamless customer experience.You will be a member of the Digital Excellence (DEx) leadership team and report to the Head of the team. You will guide senior management and multi-functional executives in relevant issues and play an active role in the leadership and development of the DEx team overall.Your responsibilities will include:Collaborate with Disease Area Business Unit stakeholders to develop and embed customer engagement strategies & longitudinal journeys in countriesEnable network of leaders to co-create digital engagement strategies either directly with customers or aligned with customer journey insightsChampion digital experience, including striving for a seamless multichannel experience by liaising with Marketing teams to ensure digital strategies are seamlessly integrated and given priority focusCommunicate compelling vision of opportunities that drive impact on key issues for digital customer engagement strategy and tactics, including disease area and region-specific needs, as well as changes to engagement strategies over the product lifecycle with a focus on the prioritized launchesDevelop & coordinate the cross-portfolio customer strategy to ensure a seamless customer experienceEnhance launches through development of robust digital success measures, including strategies to increase engagement via digital channelsDevelop, coach, and lead team of digital engagement professionals to execute against roadmap for digital customer excellence visionManage engagement with Agencies of Record and strategic partnerships across the digital communityOperate as an inspiring leader and visionary, with the ability to evangelize strategic use of digital platforms in decision-making and customer engagementDevelop a culture and environment where digital professionals thrive, oversee the development of competency models, career paths, and onboarding and training programs for the individuals in the teamEnsure an environment that supports creativity and innovationStay abreast of market evolutions and dynamics regarding Roche’s position in industry and therapeutic areasWho You AreVisionary: You are a strong leader who has led people and teams through exponential change. You coach and educate teams on new potential digital customer engagement approaches to solve for opportunities and challenges.We are looking for the following key qualifications and experience:We seek an accomplished leader, with demonstrated success in leading teams and guiding the development and implementation of digital platforms that enable insight sharing and enhance engagement with customers (e.g., patients, physicians / HCPs, payers, etc.). Specifically, you will possess the following:8 - 10 years of digital marketing experience, preferably inclusive of both healthcare and consumer goods industry experience, with 3+ years of management experienceBachelor’s degree in a business or quantitative field, advanced degrees preferredPrevious experience leading & managing digital marketing teams, or related functions; deep knowledge of digital customer strategy and launch tacticsStrong leadership skills: excellent team management, coaching and mentoring skills, superior planning, process and influencing skillsGood interpersonal skills to drive alignment among cross-functional and global teams; able to build effective relationshipsDemonstrated ability to create, develop, and implement digital engagement strategies and innovative digital platformsProven track record designing and implementing success measures for digital launchesDemonstrated capability in driving business results through implementation of digital platformsYou are a dedicated leader who takes initiative and suggests ways to move forward, able to understand complex business process and influence business change. You are customer-centric and able to apply this approach to everything you do. Acting from a whole system and with the enterprise perspective, you understand the big picture.
