You define new architecture topics from business goals, technology and market development and innovations. You align business strategy and architecture vision and lead 10-15 senior enterprise architects.

  • Development of a companywide enterprise architecture vision and technology strategy
  • Anchoring the vision and strategy in roadmaps and milestones of delivery organisations
  • Reporting and tracking of the implementation progress of the enterprise architecture vision as well as the definition of architecture principles, standards and reference models for architecture development
  • Management of architecture-relevant programmes and projects
  • Participation in development value streams as a solution architect

Team The Swisscom Enterprise Architecture Team is the place where strategic topics are developed. As an Enterprise Architect, you make a valuable contribution to defining the architectural vision framework, establishing governance processes and tools to align architecture development across the organisation. Further, you interact, collaborate and confer with various stakeholders at all management levels to ensure best-in-class EA governance with clear processes.

The subject We work according to "new ways of working" in an agile, scaled BizDevOps world. Our Enterprise Architecture supports the business to create optimal customer value and to ensure a sustainable and modern ICT architecture. You further develop our enterprise architecture, vision and technology strategy and advise our business and the value streams so that we build and sustainably operate state-of-the-art and innovative solutions. You work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that the enterprise architecture, vision and technology strategy is aligned, embedded and delivered. You also provide architecture principles, guidelines, processes and tools. You work closely with business stakeholders and the enterprise architecture community.

Your profile

  • Extensive experience in complex enterprise architecture (business & ICT)
  • Experience as a consultant working for service providers
  • Strong in vision, strategy, target architectures
  • Degree (ETH/Uni/technical college) in engineering, computer science, economics (MBA is a plus)
  • Several years of experience in a similarly complex management position
  • Transformational leader, agile mindset and able to act as a coach and motivator in a complex environment.
  • Able to keep an overview - good at dealing with complexity and many parallel issues
  • Able to deal with stakeholders ranging from technical and business to top managers
  • Inspiring person, good at presenting and storytelling
  • Very good German and English
