CASPERLABS, the Casper Network developer, provides professional services and support for organizations building on the Casper network. Guided by open source principles, we are committed to supporting the next wave of blockchain adoption among businesses and providing developers with a reliable and secure framework to build private, public and hybrid blockchain applications. Our team possesses deep enterprise technology experience, hailing from organizations including Google, Adobe, AWS, Dropbox and Microsoft.

We are looking for a Head of HR to join the CasperLabs Finance & Operations team. In this position, you will work closely with the executive team to help build and oversee all people related functions and position the company for its next stage in scale and impact. You will have the opportunity to bring in new ideas and initiatives, solve problems and implement processes in order to support the business and continually develop our culture.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure healthy scaling of the company, i.e. significantly increase the workforce while maintaining company values and cultural consistency
  • Drive our talent strategy across the entire employee lifecycle including employer brand-building, hiring, performance management and engagement as well as offboarding
  • Strengthen the compensation structure and manage payroll as well as long term incentive plans
  • Ensure a great employee experience and maintain employee satisfaction
  • Design, improve and implement HR processes and policies
  • Strengthen and introduce HR software systems
  • Build out data administration and create management reporting for key metrics
  • Manage and develop the HR team
  • Ensure setup of remote employees and contractors in line with legal requirements


Hard Skills / Experience

Requirements
  • MS/MA from an accredited university
  • At least 7 years working experience in various HR roles, with a minimum of 2 years in leadership and management positions
  • Track record of creating and leading people programmes designed for scale in a high growth environment
  • Previous work in and profound understanding of software and technology companies
  • Strong interest in blockchain and crypto a must, previous experience a plus
  • Expertise in companies with a globally distributed workforce
  • Proven experience in implementing hiring procedure, performance management, compensation plans, payroll processes and reporting
  • Understanding of different legal frameworks in employment and social security law
  • Excellent professional English
