Responsibilities
  • As HR Country Head Switzerland and HR Site Head you will be responsible to build and lead a country specific HR function.
  • With the merger of Siemens Healthineers and Varian, you will be the leader for a healthy, business-oriented and pioneering Company and HR integration.
  • You will drive the implementation of the entire HR portfolio for the newly formed Siemens Healthineers International AG by planning, aligning and implementing HR policies, programs and practices in line with global and regional HR guiding principles.
  • You represent a modern, innovation-driven and cost-conscious HR mindset by using your current modern "method box" and inclusive leadership style to make the existing competent and dedicated HR team successful.
  • You will stay abreast of HR trends and act as a valued HR advisor to the country and site management team to identify country specific organizational/talent areas for development and implement solutions for total rewards and career development.
  • You will work closely with regional HR colleagues, local HR team and HR COEs to ensure successful implementation of global HR initiatives, policies, and processes at site level.
  • You will define and implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion specific site initiatives in collaboration with country/site business leaders.
  • You ensure that country/site HR policies and (COE specific) programs comply with country legal requirements, are updated and that employees are informed of any changes.
  • This goes hand in hand with positioning Siemens Healthineers International AG (incl. related divisions) as an employer of choice in the country. You will advise the management team on strengthening the local employer brand based on company programs and policies.
  • You will be responsible for compliance with all relevant national and international regulations as well as internal governance, guidelines, policies, collective bargaining and legal agreements.
  • You will manage the HR budget, ensuring compliance with commitments made and systematically seeking optimization opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • You have many years of professional experience in operational and strategic HR and show a proven track record as an HR professional in technology, healthcare companies or multinational organizations.
  • You have several years of leadership experience or project team management experience.
  • Ideally, you have gained experience in dealing with mergers & acquisitions from an HR perspective.
  • You have solid knowledge of local Comp & Ben systems including pension schemes and Swiss labor law.
  • You have a successful university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or Organizational Management.
  • You have a strong understanding of HR issues that impact the business and how the business can create profit and value. You support leaders in identifying and resolving dysfunctional aspects of processes, structures and systems.
  • You have a clear goal to be a trusted HR advisor and sparring partner to the Swiss leadership team and the site leadership. You can anticipate business requirements and proactively provide solutions.
  • You are a change agent and can lead HR change initiatives and contribute to business change activities, promoting and supporting new ways of working in the organization.
  • You convince by issuing concise and audience-oriented messages, while speaking clearly in various situations.
  • You have excellent business acumen, have experience working with international companies and have a noticeable presence in the business leadership team.
  • You are fluent in German and English and can ideally also communicate in French.
