Your tasks
  • Management and leadership of the Industrialization department with the areas of pro-duct and production engineering, tune and care, prototype assembly, dedicated solution engineering, and technical product
  • Definition and implementation of the industrialization strategy at the Biel/Bienne site in cooperation with the management
  • Actively participate with your team to R+D projects in order to assure best in class proto-type assembly and industrialization
  • Participate to the cost calculation of production during the product development phase
  • Develop and follow all customer-adapted solutions. Follow this special machine from the request for quotation to the delivery
  • Help with your team of tune and care the assembly in case of any difficulties to assure on time and on quality delivery
  • Assure with your team that our serial products are produced in an always more competi-tive way, in an always better quality
  • Elaboration and implementation of manufacturing and quality concepts according to modern lean philosophies in close cooperation with various specialist departments from product development, and operations
  • Ensuring measures to achieve and maintain process and equipment capability
  • Responsibility for budget and key figures
Your profile
  • Ideally, you have a technical basic education with a degree in mechanical engineering, pro-duction science, mechatronics, robotics, automation or comparable
  • Further education in the direction of business administration is an advantage
  • Proven professional in industrialization with several years of experience and track record in a similar role from the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrably good leadership experience
  • Strong affinity for processes and IT
  • Very good MS-Office, experience with SAP or CAD is an asset
  • Business fluent communication in spoken and written German and English
  • Other languages as French, Italian and Chinese are an asset
  • You see yourself as a "doer" who get stuck in, actively leads and has great skills in operational implementation.
