At a Glance:

We are excited to offer the position of Head of International Sales to an entrepreneurial new member of our passionate diverse team. You will be leading the International Sales business at On. Overseeing our portfolio of distribution partners and owning its contribution to the overall business, you’ll shape how and where On is doing business in the markets served through distributors - with a strong focus on business development and growth. Leading a team of International Sales Specialists, you’ll be responsible for applying global sales strategies and standards in On’s distributors’ markets whilst adhering to local requirements and particularities. You will work closely together with Sales in On’s direct markets and build strong relationships with teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance.

Your Team:

From Central and South America over Northern, South, and Eastern Europe up to Asia, the International Sales team is responsible for establishing and developing On as a premium brand in more than 30 countries across the globe. Understanding global market structures and behaviors, we spot and use potential for growth. We enable our distributors to successfully evolve their markets. We manage the expansion to new markets. The market portfolio we manage is as diverse as we are. Different cultures and languages are what we enjoy, analytical and communication skills are what make us strong as a team.

Your Mission:
  • Own contribution of distributors’ market portfolio to the overall business, grow the brand in line with market potential and business plan
  • Uncover and use the full potential of the single markets; develop and implement new unique partnership models
  • Lead a team of International Sales Specialists towards clear-set targets, enabling them to successfully manage and develop their respective market portfolios
  • Enhance the growth of the product portfolio (shoes, apparel, and accessories) and additional business fields (running, outdoor, and all day)
  • Ensure one global face to the customer by effectively connecting with business functions and other regions to apply global strategies and standards
Your Story:
  • 5-10 years of senior experience in (new) business development with a focus on international sales, distribution and market expansion; you are a strategist with a strong sense for growth opportunities and how to use them
  • Proven success in inspiring and leading teams towards targets; you coach your team members towards growth and help them develop in their roles
  • Data driven decision making to shape and realize your mid- and long-term strategy for existing and new markets
  • Cross-functional (project) work is what you enjoy. Managing various stakeholders is one of your key strengths and helps you to effectively connect with both the On team and our distribution partners
  • Fully fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
