Head of Marketing

EF Academy (a division of EF Education First) is looking for a highly motivated Head of Marketing to lead its Global Marketing team in Zurich. Working closely with the President and the Admissions Teams, you will set the brand growth strategy and will be managing the team responsible for the design and the implementation of engaging cross-channel experiences across the entire customer journey, identifying solutions and ideas that will efficiently drive new enrollments to our International Boarding Schools in Oxford, New York, and Pasadena.

Your Responsibilities


  • Develop EF Academy’s Brand Strategy, the roadmap and its execution to accelerate brand awareness and growth
  • Lead a team of digital advertising and marketing experts to achieve efficient business growth through digital channels at a global level, through lead generation and conversion optimization
  • Evolve the measurability of digital activities and investments towards the understanding of the role and the importance of each touchpoint.
  • Work closely with the senior management team and our admissions teams worldwide to define, implement and manage the digital strategy for the EF Academy brand
  • Stay up to date with best practices, with a persistent eye on new channels and competitor techniques.



Your profile
  • You have 8 or more years of experience in digital marketing strategy
  • You have 5 or more years of experience in branding
  • You are a digital native with an analytical mindset and you know how to use data to drive decisions.
  • You are goal-oriented, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation.
  • You have very strong logical and deductive reasoning.
  • You are a motivating team leader who can build high-performing teams and foster collaboration and open communication across a global organization.
  • You have a BA or BS degree in business, marketing, or equivalent.
  • Direct experience in any of the following fields is a plus: search engine optimization, e-mail marketing, conversion rate optimization, branding
  • Digital agency or startup experience is a plus.
  • Any additional experience in growth marketing is a plus.



Requirements
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) - other languages are a plus.
  • Be eligible for a Swiss work permit.
