For our Design and Content team in Lausanne, Switzerland we are therefore looking for a Head of Product ID to drive through great innovation, design quality and execution on our IQOS Premium – Mid programs.

In this position you will work in close collaboration with the cross functional leadership team ensuring strong brand design experiences across all products touchpoints.

You will
  • Lead the conceptualisation, iterative methodology, & coordination of creative analysis & visual mapping based on LAU/LAS insights and markets trends to identify product and innovation opportunities that ultimately driving best-in class design solutions that meet or exceed the needs of our targeted consumers.
  • Develop outstanding product design strategy all the way to development and continuing building the IQOS brand identity.
  • Communicate design vision across program teams and with both internal and external teams.
  • As Head of ID, you’ll represent Design in program leadership team and contribute to decision-making from a Creative perspective linked to the overall product ecosystem.
  • A strong partner with Business Program owner, the Design and Content creative team, Product & ecosystem, Insight and Engineering and technology
  • Ensure high-quality design output, meeting business and brand requirements and deadlines.
  • Co-create the program brief and accountable to set programs goals, lead operational design work and execution for the both internal and external design team.
  • Manage and communicate the design part of schedules and allocated resources and budgets.
  • Supporting the design team, so they are adequately coordinated and meeting the demands and expectations of the program processes.
We’re looking for someone with
  • BA/BS and/or MA/MS in a relevant design field.
  • Relevant design experience (corporate / consultancy), with proven success cases in the market.
  • Strong Design Advocacy, delivering standard methodology in design and brand design language within the programs. Ensuring right level of design quality is executed.
  • Leadership skills in the complexities of programs and design management (people & process)
  • Strategic Creativity Creative ability to synthesize relevant consumer insights, communicate ideas, building understanding and execute strategic outcomes.
  • Able to seamlessly integrate business requirements and consumer insights into design strategy and program execution.
  • You have a holistic understanding of design expertise across design subject areas (product, packaging, graphics, interaction design etc.) with a strong background in product design execution.
  • Experience working with accessories and soft goods would be a bonus.
  • A phenomenal communicator (verbal, written, and visual) who has the ability to influence and build consensus both within a program teams, design team and with executive stakeholders across the company.
  • Collaboration mind set Strong team player with ability to actively promote information sharing, one team spirit, and leading by example and showing rather than telling.
