Head of Quality Auditing and Quality Management System

In this role you will be guiding the international teams of Quality System Auditors located in different internal locations within Electrification Smart Buildings (ELSB). In cooperation with the management team of ELSB (Electrification Smart Buildings) you will be developing and executing the divisional Audit plan and help to be successful. You will be playing a major role in implementing new programs, ideas and improving the quality audit processes with your team. Furthermore, you will be taking the lead in creating and developing a central divisional Quality Management System (“QMS”) with a special focus on standardization and administration of important quality processes within our global process management platform together with selected process owners. Reporting to the Head of Divisional Quality, you will be contributing to the continued global success of the business.

Your responsibilities

  • Building up international System Auditor network (resources & competencies)
  • Developing and executing divisional Audit plan
  • Adjusting audit program and focusing according to the business needs and applicable requirements
  • Training and developing internal system auditors
  • Managing interface to external certification bodies on divisional level
  • Process owner for Quality Audit process (Process, Product, System)
  • Development and maintenance of divisional Quality Management System
  • Administration of Process Management tool on divisional level (e.g. SmarterPro)
  • Supporting and guiding local QMS/IMS Managers + building network
  • Recruiting, developing and leading (functionally) Process Experts/Owners for relevant Quality Processes
  • Identifying best practice processes and support standardization on divisional level

Your background

  • Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Quality education as qualified Quality System Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949)
  • Experience in building up Quality Management Systems acc. ISO9001
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ working experience in Quality relevant field in a big company (preferably in electrical, mechanical or automotive industry)
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methods
  • Solid understanding of typical technical requirements
  • Experience with automatic assembly lines
  • Leadership experience (leading international and virtual teams)
  • Proven experience of driving change by building trust
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and German would be an asset
