Head of Retirement (m/f/d)

Leading one of the largest teams of Mercer Switzerland whilst working for one of the leading management consultancies and benefit from all the advantages of a global corporation. You’re an experienced team leader with an Actuary/Retirement consulting background? Then we cannot wait to receive your application.

We Will Count On You To
  • Successfully lead a team of ~15-20 employees
  • Provide strategic consulting/technical advice directly to large clients on complex and challenging issues in the area of Actuarial consulting
  • Serve as a lead consultant on medium and large clients
  • Act as a mentor and coach by motivating your team to deliver a high standard of work through on-the-job training and development
  • Participate as a significant team member with respect to sales by driving new business proposals and extending the range of services provided to retirement and other lines of business’ clients as appropriate
  • Manage project teams and budgets, and apply advanced professional and or technical expertise to client problems and to meet project objectives
  • Hold significant responsibility for proactive revenue generation of existing clients and contributing in a meaningful way to new business efforts
What You Need To Have
  • Degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, finance or related field
  • 8-10+ years of pensions actuarial consulting experience
  • Professional actuarial qualification
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Business fluent English and German, French is a further advantage
  • Experience in sales (both in winning new clients, and expanding services to existing clients)
  • Experience within a major global consultancy firm
