We are looking for the Head of Global Sales for our High-Speed Division, to join the undisputed leader in turbocharging High-Speed gas engines above 500kW with the ambition to grow its position on liquid-fueled High-Speed engines. You will be accountable for customer satisfaction and top-line performance over the entire lifecycle, from the product introduction to phase-out in service. As a member of the Division Management team, you will report to Division President. You will be located in Baden, Switzerland and travel is expected up to 20% of your working time.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsibility for sales, application engineering, and commercial operations in the High-Speed business globally, with a global organization of experts in Switzerland, the US, and China.
  • Accountable for customer satisfaction and top-line performance over the entire lifecycle, from the product introduction to phase out in service.
  • Be Accelleron’s face to the High-Speed engine industry towards customers, supply community, and associations.
  • Develop and implement the High-Speed strategy and its operational plans as a member of the division’s management team.
  • Responsible to establish the contractual framework with our customers for the product business and the service business.
  • Establish market size monitoring based on internal and external information.
  • Accountable for our growth strategy by addressing the market opportunities with solutions that add value for the customer and Accelleron.
  • Support customers in the performance optimization of their engines with expert performance engineering on and beyond turbocharging.
  • Ensure operational excellence to the customer on quality and on-time delivery by accurate demand forecasting and professional order execution in cooperation with operations.
  • Utilize your excellent network in the customers organization, and the industry community to form a sound picture of the key technology and market trends and formulate the future requirements for our products.

Your background

Education and experiences.

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, preferably focus on thermal machines.
  • Education in business administration or economics.
  • Long-term experience in the engine or turbocharger industries.
  • Sound experience in the performance optimization of engines.
  • Sound experience in international sales, preferably with exposure to US and China.
  • Understanding of decarbonization challenges and opportunities in the diesel and gas engine industry.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and German.
