We are currently looking for a Head of Sales (Member of the Management Team) to join us.

Role + Responsibilities

  • You and your team are responsible for the sustainable growth of our business across our complete portfolio (products, solutions and services)
  • You and your team leaders for Inside Sales and Projects work seamlessly together to provide clear leadership and guidance in both, commercial and people related aspects
  • You exercise direct leadership for all Outside Sales Engineers and drive for excellence in the Sales processes
  • You are responsible for the preparation, implementation and follow-up of sales strategies and sales plans to meet agreed targets and objectives
  • You regularly engage in Customer visits and provide support to your colleagues in key activities
  • You monitor markets and competitors and closely liaise with Marketing to incorporate latest findings in your strategies and tactics
  • You actively manage all relevant interfaces and networks with the other departments as well within the Endress+Hauser Group
  • You represent Endress+Hauser at public events and fairs

Qualification + Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering / Bioprocess Engineering and related; with an additional economic degree
  • Have sound sales skills, particularly in the sales of capital equipment
  • Have a sound knowledge of process measurement technology / solutions business
  • Are accustomed to negotiating with customers from the quotation to the conclusion of the contract
  • Know the required standards, regulations and guidelines in different industries (e.g. Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, etc)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, strong team building skills
  • Have a proven track record in handling a wide scope of responsibilities in an international and matrixed organization
  • Swiss market knowledge is an absolute must
  • Business fluent in German & English, other Swiss national languages are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel, mainly within Switzerland and occasionally Internationally
