Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or as Chief of Staff
  • Experience in advising executive leaders on strategy, organization, and operations topics.
  • Experience managing and developing talents.

Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or a Graduate degree in a management, technical, or engineering field
  • Experience leading and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives for large organizations
  • Excellent problem-solving and quantitative modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for technology, demonstrated through tech, media, telecom company experience

About The Job

The Partnerships Solutions and Go-to-Market (PSGTM) team in Global Partnerships provides Strategy and Operations, Go-To-Market, and Industry solutions support to Global partnerships. Our team provides strategic insights and thought leadership on key topics, advises business leaders on vertical strategy and organizational design, helps drive business operations and efficiency, builds executive narratives, and supports product commercialization.

As the Head of Strategy and Operations, you will have the opportunity to shape the point of view on business strategy in the EMEA region across Ads, Shopping, Travel and Search, and Assistant Distribution, enable operational support for our partnerships teams, and help architect and drive key programs that deliver value for Google and its partners.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive support on strategic and operational initiatives that enable our partnerships goals across multiple Google product areas.
  • Provide strategy and operations support to executive leaders in the Global Partnerships organization.
  • Drive critical analysis and recommendations on priority topics related to partnership strategy.
  • Develop clear, simple, and persuasive internal and external communications to influence executive stakeholders.
  • Build and lead a team of partners for the Knowledge and Information Partnerships business.
