Your Tasks / Role

We are looking for a strong and dynamic Manager with entrepreneurial skills to drive quality in our global Sales organization of the Industrials subsegment. You and your team will be the primary contact for our Industrials customers in quality matters and will promote process and quality management as a very important asset within the organization. You will be responsible for professional customer complaints management and collaborate with our sites around the world, acting as the voice of the customer. You will have direct access to our Senior Vice President Sales Industrials and drive the continuous improvement process in the sales organization.


The main tasks for this challenging role are:
  • Lead the communication in customer complaints, ensure proper management according to 8D and achieve customer satisfaction upon complaint closure.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and improve the relevant quality KPIs in the Sales organization.
  • Support the Sales organization in root causes analyses and ensure the implementation of appropriate measures to avoid recurrence of issues.
  • Coordinate customer audit requests with the relevant parties in the organisition and ensure the closure of follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate customer enquires related to quality and support customer projects in quality related topics (APQP).
  • Perform internal audits and support certification audits as needed.
  • Support the Sales organization with training and coaching.
  • Build up your team of 2 people.

Your background / profile

You have a technical education or an engineering background and a further education in Quality Management. You have at least 10 years’ experience in Quality Management (incl. Leadership) and you know the relevant standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, IAFT16949. You are used to discuss difficult topics with customers and successful in conflict resolution. You communicate and act successfully in a global matrix organization and show personal leadership every day. You are fluent in German and English and willing to travel up to max. 10-20%. Standard IT tools and SAP are not an issue for you.
