As Visp fast becomes the largest biologics manufacturing site in Europe, we are currently looking for a Head of Strategy Biologics to support our recently launched unique biological manufacturing and development concept Ibex Solutions, in Visp, Switzerland.

You will support the Head of Operations to manage the site governance as well as developing and executing the strategy, and act as Chief of Staff for Biologics Visp Site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Operations to develop and implement the mid- and long-term strategy: yearly X-matrix in collaboration with OE, Roadmap and Site Master Plan
  • Manage the overall governance of the Visp Biologics Ops LT (Hoshin Process, Councils, Performance Reviews)
  • Owns business strategy on FTE and Hiring Plans for Visp Biologics
  • Responsible for the development and overall execution of critical improvement projects needed for robust operations, significantly improving profitability and delivering strategy growth
  • Acts as a link for all projects, connecting the dots within the overall organization
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree (preferred) in a Science / Engineering related field such as Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Biologics, Biotechnology, Process Engineering or equivalent
  • Lean practitioner and Green/Black Belt Certification will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing and excellent data interpretation skills
  • Advanced Project Management skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented work approach
  • Strong Leadership and Stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interaction with all kinds of internal and external interfaces
  • Fluency in English, German will be an advantage
