As a Health Software Engineer, you will be developing algorithms for health functions. You will be able to contribute across all innovation steps, from concept to the finished product. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of researchers, signal and health processing engineers, software developers, architects and electrical engineers to realize vital signs monitoring solutions. You like to share your knowledge, learn from others and collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment. 

Your tasks

  • Develop new algorithms and embedded software for health functions (Matlab/Simulink, C, Python, Git, and more)
  • Contribute to concept, prototype and product development in multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • Develop and optimize embedded medical software in Model Based Design, V-Model and an agile development process.
  • Contribute to continuous delivery and integration

Your profile

  • MSc/PhD in Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge in signal algorithms and machine learning
  • Knowledge of health sciences and medical devices is a plus
  • Result-oriented team player with a pragmatic approach and good communication skills
  • Passionate about best practice software development practices and technologies
  • Experience with embedded software development and model-based design
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
