Your Mission:

Offer direct HR support to the International Retail Managing Director, all European boutiques and the Geneva retail team, including the coordination of HR processes for Boutiques worldwide.

Your Main Responsibilities:

European boutiques (approx. 60%)

Lead the process of Recruitment (major task)

  • Follow up on the recruitment process from request to end of trial period.
  • Take care of the administrative part of recruitment: request, job descriptions, and advertisements.
  • Interview candidates (HR IS: Cornerstone)

Manage Employee life cycle

  • Support & handle all aspects of the employee life cycle in respective Boutiques
  • Support on employee relation issues and conflict management.
  • Advise and consult in compensation and benefits issues with Boutique Manager and Global Retail Director.

Project & Crisis Management (Covid-19 pandemic)

  • Support Boutiques and GMs in HR matters in case of disruptive business circumstances

Geneva Retail Team, support Worldwide boutiques (approx. 20%)

People Development

  • Ensure that annual review processes exist and are used properly.
  • Support in performance evaluation & target setting process (Europe)

Compensation scheme

  • Support countries in establishing, adapting and secure a compensation scheme for boutiques, globally but taken into consideration local differences.

Reporting

  • Provide KPI´s under company´s standards using SalesForce and and Cornerstone.

HR Systems & Projects (approx. 20%)

  • Manages European Recruiter Licence in LinkedIn
  • Aligns on creation & development of LinkedIn Life Page & Marketing activities
  • Observes competition and trends in the LinkedIn Luxury business, prepares recommendations for update in LinkedIn incl. presenting content for Chopard as competitive employer

Countries covered: Spain, UK, France, Switzerland, Monaco, Belgium, Italy

Staff population: approx. 120

Your background and competencies/skills:

Education & Skills

  • University Degree completed by Swiss HR certification or equivalent education
  • Min. 5 years’ experience as HR Business Partner in Retail, ideally in Luxury segments or luxury hotels
  • Industrial education or university degree, also: degree from luxury hotellerie very welcome
  • Bilingual French and English, ideally 3rd language (German)
  • business travel readiness (20%)
  • Experience with family business very welcome
