Job Summary

The HR Country Lead & Business Partner is responsible for leading all matters of Human Resources at a country level and partner with leaders in aligning and achieving business objectives. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the organization’s business objectives. The HR Country Lead & BP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business’s financial position, midrange plans, culture, and competition.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely support to leaders and employees.
  • Handles from hiring to retiring maters in conjunction with the HR Service Center (HRSC) and HR Center of Expertise (HRCoE), in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provides day-to-day management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Provides guidance and input on business restructures and workforce planning.
  • Identifies training needs at country level, partnering with HRCoE.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • A second European language is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Travel requirement 30%
