The HR Global HR Director, HRBP Finance supports the global finance function with focus on CFO, corporate finance leadership team and regional CFO’s to identify, prioritize, and build organisational capabilities, structures and behaviours – including recruitment, compensation, talent and succession, organisation development and change management as well as culture development
  • Talent & Succession
  • Supports line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with strategy and business plans
  • Identifies specific training and development needs and implement appropriate delivery
  • Identifies top talent together with Finance organisation and facilitated by HR Leadership Development & talent department
  • Contribute to finance intern, trainee and other finance related development programs
  • Staffing
  • Ensure together with the talent acquisition team and the regional HR teams that positions are filled with the best person for the right roles
  • Enhance internal mobility
  • Support building succession planning with an external view on talent as well
  • Organisation Development
  • Supports CFO in developing the global finance organisation
  • Facilitate long-term initiatives aligned with the strategic agenda
  • Develop and promote client feedback mechanisms to assist improvement of HR services and processes
  • Performance Management
  • Support clients to manage performance and ensures performance meets current and future standards
  • Facilitate performance management grandfathering
  • Compensation
  • Coordinate global annual bonus process within the finance organisation in line with corporate requirements and company and individual’s performance
  • Coordinate and execute global salary reviews within the finance function in support of CFO
  • Contribute to job evaluation inside the finance function
  • Business Partnering
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to client/s as appropriate
  • Understand employee opinions and anticipate needs and concerns
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve the HR deliverables
  • Work with HR Directors in the regions to identify and drive best practice sharing of across organisation
  • Act as a liaison between regional and Corporate Centre of Excellence HR teams to ensure services are aligned with client needs worldwide
  • Ensure strong leadership and coaching culture permeates client organisation
  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual, global HR business plan and participate in functional / cross-functional initiatives
The role is part of COFCO International’s HR Leadership Team.

What does it take to be succesful in this role:
  • Minimum 12 years experience in HR gained in a multinational or international work environment - ideally in the commodities sector
  • At least 3 years of working on senior level
  • Experience of working abroad
  • Excellent knowledge of HR best practises
  • Very good understanding of Comp & Ben practises
  • Experience with high paced commercial environment
  • People management experience – remotely managed team/s
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent command of English
  • Mandarin and/or Portuguese a plus
  • Highly commercial mindset
  • Energetic self-starter
  • Adapted to high pressure
  • High degree of Intercultural awareness
  • Highly service- minded
  • Solid understanding of finance
