Job Title: HR Executive to the Chief People OfficerLocation: Geneva, Switzerland
Reports to: Chief People Officer & CEO of Regions
Over the last months, we have worked together as HRD leadership community to align on a collective aspiration for our HR function. Our vision is built upon three memorable pillars, representing what makes Richemont unique and attractive for our colleagues: Belonging, Opportunity, and Becoming.
To bring to life and support this vision, we have redesigned our Group HR department organization and decided to strengthen the team by creating a new HR Executive to the Chief People Officer position in order to ensure strategic guidance as well as a drive on HR operational topics.
As HR Executive to the Chief People Officer, you will support our Chief People Officer in setting the strategic direction of our Group HR function to meet the Group’s business transformation challenges, translate aspirations into actions, integrate our key values, and promote the human dimension of the Group.
You will partner closely with the Group HR leadership team on both strategic projects as well as tactical execution of our HR agenda. You will be also responsible of framing, monitoring and running key operational HR projects with different stakeholders in the organization ensuring synergies between the teams.
You hold a highly visible leadership role within the organization and are one of senior members in our Global HRD community to develop effective relationships with our business leaders, within our HR community and the outside HR world.
Your reporting line will be to the Chief People Officer and your ultimate success lies in the support and close collaboration with the various internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Essentials Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational support for the Chief People Officer, contributing to bring to life our HR vision and expected mindset & behaviors
- Drive HR strategic planning process and manage our HR project portfolio in junction with the Group HR leadership team
- Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives and key operational HR projects through strong and sustainable relationships and interactions with all levels of the organization
- Ensure the execution of our annual HR agenda (participate in budget meetings, prepare and coordinate our people review, execute the annual HR Enterprise Risk Management & Company Level Controls reviews, prepare and follow-up audits, …)
- Manage the Group HR department budget in collaboration with the Group HR leadership team and the finance department
- Guide strategic communication within HR partnering with the Internal Communication team
- Develop clear, succinct and compelling content for executive-level presentations and communications for internal and external audiences
- Orchestrate and facilitate internal and external HR meetings and events
- Work on behalf of Chief People Officer, interacting regularly with the HR leadership community, internal business partners and other stakeholders as the face of Group HR and on behalf of the Chief People Officer at times.
- University degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resources, Bachelor’s degree required, Masters/MBA preferred
- 15+ years experience working in related business functions (HR, finance, project management, consulting) with at least 8+ years of direct HR experience
- Strong business acumen to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities carrying out the broad direction set by the Chief People Officer
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical action to drive results, to navigate with agility within a complex matrixed organizational structure, and to work independently and at times with limited direction
- Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Open and pro-active team player building trust and credibility and establishing positive and productive working relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders inside and outside the company
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills (fluent in English, French, and/or German would be great too)
- Resilient with a high level of personal integrity and energy demonstrating a strong work ethic, passion, and a positive, can-do attitude
