Job Description:

We are looking for Senior HR Specialist!

In this role you will have the overall accountability for processing payroll and HR transactional activities:

  • Responsibility and lead for the overall payroll process
  • Responsible for reconciliation of payroll related accounts
  • Responsible for internal and external audits (e.g. AHV Revision, SOX audit)
  • Ensure compliance with local Swiss legislation, laws and Company policies
  • Manage employees benefits (e.g. pension fund, personnel insurance)
  • Independent handling of entry and exit administration, incl. application for work permits, insurances (AHV, family allowance, EO/MSE, UVG, UVGZ, KTG, BVG, tax at source etc.) and the contact with such external offices
  • Prepare contracts, contract changes, unpaid leave agreements, education agreements, promotion letters, maternity leave agreements, termination confirmations/letters and any kind of confirmation letters
  • Ensure the accurate maintain of personnel and compensation data records in the IT systems (SAP, Workday) and act as a first level support for employees and managers
  • First point of contact and advise employees and managers on HR and administrative matters
  • Provide overviews in terms of time management (vacation balances, sick days, etc.)
  • Responsibility for the organization of the onboarding for new hires and off-boarding
  • Prepare reports for ongoing tracking of KPI’and reporting for Bundesamt für Statistik (“Lohnstrukturerhebung”)
  • Provide support to HR Business Partners across the entire employee lifecycle

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in personnel administration in international organization(s) and processed payroll in Switzerland
  • Working knowledge of payroll best practices
  • Excellent know-how across all hire to retire processes
  • Good know-how of the Swiss labor law
  • Knowledge of Swiss benefits and personnel insurance plans
  • Knowledge of accounting/financial reporting processes related to HR matters
  • Languages: fluent in German and English (written and orally)
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • High degree of professionalism.
