ABOUT THIS JOB

As an HR People Experience Generalist, you will act as a support to local associates and managers in all HR-related matters. Moreover, you will provide technical leadership, advice, and recommendations within the Human resources area in line with the business strategy. Vitally important to this role is to have up to date knowledge on local labour and workforce related subjects and be able to communicate and execute NielsenIQ’s Global HR strategy

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide a full HR administration support service to 2 NielsenIQ offices in Switzerland in Geneva and in Root, including:
    • Prepare employment contracts, side letters
    • On- and off-boarding of employees
    • Conduct entry meetings with new hires in order to explain company culture and tools
    • Write interim and final work certificates
    • Prepare payroll information for the Payroll provider
  • Consult managers and employees regarding Swiss employment law and internal NielsenIQ policies and procedures
  • Coaching managers through the handling of employee relations issues, as an expert in Swiss employment laws and regulations
  • Supporting leaders in Total Compensation Management
  • Consulting with HR colleagues and external partners to meet clients’ HR needs via effective HR business solutions, in alignment with local employment laws and regulations
  • Supporting leaders with realizing organizational change projects and managing the associated people implications
  • Partnering with our HR support functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Shared Services) to ensure high-quality client support and HR delivery

Your Profile
  • Fluent knowledge of English, French, and German.
  • Academic background with a Bachelor and/or Master degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or another related degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in HR
  • Working experience in international companies and working in matrix organizations
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss employment legislation and best practices
  • Working experience with SAP
  • Acting with a high level of autonomy
  • High attention to details and discipline in meeting deadlines
  • Effective communicator and team player
  • Acting with a high degree of ethics and integrity
  • Experience in working with remote teams
