What You Will Be Accountable For

We are currently looking for an intern to support us with our HR and Talent agenda, aiming at maintaining our reputation as a Top Employer through management of Internal & External Communication projects that support our business agenda.

You will be given responsibility and your own projects from the beginning, allowing you to develop your career with support at every stage of the process, including on-going feedback and coaching.

You will gain hands-on HR experience and solid practical knowledge to help launch your career in this sector. As the Business continues to transform, striving towards ‘A Better Tomorrow’, you will support the HR team in day-to-day activities, as per the accountabilities below

INTERNAL COMMS
  • Supporting with internal communications on HR, Talent, Diversity & Inclusion and other related topics
  • Supporting with the organisation of engagement activities including company-wide social events
  • Running internal engagement surveys and pulse checks, with the support of the HR team
  • Helping to track the impact of our initiatives through benchmarking, reviewing data, and preparing updates
  • Contributing to rewrite our onboarding and induction processes at BAT Switzerland
  • Occasionally supporting in ad-hoc HR tasks
EMPLOYER BRANDING
  • Contributing to increase the social media presence of BAT Switzerland
  • Planning and executing a Social Media campaign together with the Central Europe North Area Employer Branding Team
  • Managing digital touchpoints to activate our employer brand
  • Taking care of the external surveys and certification programmes, with the support of the HR team
  • Owning the local deployment of ad-hoc Global activities

  • Are you fluent in English & French (both written and verbal)? (German is a plus)
Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge
  • Recent Graduate, with basic relevant experience (no more than 2 years)
  • Good time management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and able to ensure the accuracy of documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and drive own projects with ongoing support from the team
