Haut-Lac international bilingual school (K-12 with around 600 students) near Vevey (Vaud), Switzerland invites applications from Visual Arts Teachers for IB Diploma and Middle Years,to join the school team from mid-August 2023. Candidates who are also able to teach Design are preferred.

Applicants should be enthusiastic educators with experience of teaching in international schools and have an interest in promoting extra-curricular activities to our students.

Your profile :

  • Degree in Fine Arts or equivalent title;
  • A PGCE or teaching certificate;
  • A passionate educator able to support and inspire students;
  • Qualified to teach DP and MYP Visual Arts;
  • Able to teach MYP Design;
  • Mastery of educational technological tools (iPad, distance learning platforms, etc.);
  • Teaching experience of the MYP, DP and CP programmes preferred;
  • Preferred experience of a pastoral role;
  • A working knowledge of French is desirable.

Your mission :

  • Teaching DP Visual Arts and MYP Visual Arts in English
  • Possibly teaching MYP Design
  • Participating actively in the extracurricular life of the school
