In Bern, about 350 people of over 20 nationalities work together with the wider Janssen organization and partners on the development, manufacturing and analytical testing of novel vaccines and bacteria-based pharmaceutical products and therapies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the Engineering Project Manager
  • Take over specific work packages in coordination with the Project Manager
  • Prepare documentation (Specification, URS) with internal stakeholders
  • Request and validate offers from suppliers
  • Support the creation of investment requests
  • Coordinate suppliers incl. preparation of work permits in collaboration with EHS
  • Create, prepare, process and archive project documentation
  • Write SAP notifications
  • Support general engineering activities in absence of the Project Manager
Who We Are Looking For
  • Technical Degree
  • Knowledge in the field of project management in a regulated industry, from planning, execution to commissioning of equipment, utilities (E-2-E)
  • Strong technical skills in the construction of pharmaceutical sites and their infrastructure
  • Knowledge and experience in the core business and technical area
  • Experience in collaborating with internal departments (development, operations, quality, technical services) to carry out projects, develop standards and define project requirements and priorities
  • GMP-knowledge
This job based in Bern, Switzerland will initially be limited until December 2021 with the opportunity of a further extension thru 2022.
