Responsibilities

The WE Industry Lead for Dynamics is a senior leader within the Dynamics STU (Specialist Technical Unit) enterprise sales organization working in Western Europe (WE) Area HQ team and virtually leading and developing high performing Specialists (Business Applications) in your industry across 12 countries. The WE Industry Lead for Dynamics helps each of our subsidiaries to drive the industry approach leveraging the Microsoft Business Applications Technologies to meet their customer’s needs.

We are looking for highly experienced and motivated sales talent to work in our WE Area Dynamics team to help our subsidiary teams and their customers realize the value of Business Applications in their industry. If you are a proven talent with experience in Business Applications and deeply industry , help us take Dynamics 365 to new heights in a market with millions of passionate customers and billions of Euros in business. Primary Accountabilities For This Role Include
  • Be a senior solution sales within our enterprise sales organization working with our 12 subsidiaries
  • Be an Industry Business Applications expert in WE Area HQ
  • Build a Specialists Industry community for your industry
  • Work with each Subsidiary with Specialists (Business Applications) and Sales Leaders in rolling out our Business Applications company strategy to 12 markets
  • Work with subsidiaries to drive Business Applications by coaching in deal closing to achieve monthly, quarterly and fiscal forecasts / targets
  • Work closely with key stakeholders in your industry across Western Europe area team - such as the Business Applications Business Group and partner with key EMEA Timezone and Corp stakeholders

Be the key WE Area HQ team member in supporting subsidiaries with interfacing with customers:
  • Coach Specialists (Business Applications) in owning opportunities from start to close by orchestarting virtual teams consisting of technical and partner roles. Leverage partners to scale sales motions and coach sellers to bring together Microsoft solutions with Partner solutions, to deliver value to our customers
  • Coach Specialists (Business Applications) with a “challenger mentality” by prompting Sellers to engage early and lead with new insights on how to grow the customers’ business
  • Together with our Specialists, engage at CxO level to support and coach teams on opportunity discovery and acceleration

Drive a high performing virtual community of Industry Specialist (Business Applications) across 12 subsidiaries in Western Europe:
  • Manage the Western Europe community of Industry Specialist (Business Applications) by building a trusted environment for teams to work together, learn together and win together
  • Learn about Business Applications, the market, competitors and customer needs and share these learnings with the Western Europe Specialist (Business Applications) communities
  • Drive cross-team collaboration in Microsoft, to bring the best that Microsoft has to offer to all our customers

Qualifications

Requirements:

10+ years of experience:
  • solution sales for CRM, ERP, or similar business applications
  • selling software-as-a-service or cloud-based business applications to enterprise customers.
  • identifying unique and complex business challenges and solutions
  • leading multi-million-dollar business app deals requiring orchestration of large, dispersed, virtual teams composed of industry, solution, technical, licensing & legal team members.
  • successfully displacing competitors
  • record of carrying and exceeding a large sales quota by driving and closing enterprise deals at Microsoft or competitor
  • demonstrated passion and commitment for customer success

Deep Understanding Of
  • Business solutions, ERP & CRM and how they translate into business impact
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft’s commercial cloud offerings
  • Competitors and related ecosystem

Desired Skills
  • Excels at developing strong relationships and leadership connections to understand customer needs
  • Adept at challenging perspectives with new ideas that reframes thinking about deriving value from Microsoft solutions
  • Very strong presentation, white boarding and communication skills
  • Demonstrated people leader able to coach and inspire a diverse team of Specialist Managers and Specialists
  • Strong negotiating skills

Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration or Business Management or Industry related discipline. MBA a plus.
