Industry | Legal Counsel ESG | Zurich | Temp. 6 months | 100% | Oct. 2021

Tasks
  • Advise the management and stakeholders on ESG risk and compliance measures
  • Research and review international, jurisdictional, and internal ESG requirements
  • Develop, support, and ensure legal compliance of sustainable initiatives
  • Render cross-departmental legal support on a variety of ESG projects
  • Negotiate, draft, review and amend legal documentation
  • Implement legal strategies to mitigate ESG-related risks
Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ of PQE
  • Completed MLaw or LLM degree
  • Swiss or German qualified attorney at law
  • Relevant ESG qualifications or certifications a plus
  • Fluency in English and German, other languages a plus
  • Demonstrated experience driving ESG initiatives and projects
  • Prior in-house and/or law firm exposure to ESG and sustainability
