For our client, we are currently looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager who will be responsible for the management of all new incoming requests for hosting on the Infrastructure including requests for modifications of existing hosted customers in accordance with their requirements and relevant commercial agreements.

Your Responsibilities
  • Management and controlling of specific program within the Telco Infrastructure engineering scope: requests for new ( Points of presence) PoP’s , requests for site modifications, according to customer commercial agreements
  • Managing third party resources to deliver forecasted volumes of the different customer projects
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of projects including reporting on progress and status of projects
  • Supplier management for the engineering scope , including regular meetings for monitoring of performance
  • Participating if needed to on site site survey with customer representative, landlord and engineering partner.
  • Participating to supplier RFQ process as well as development of offer and order processes; Updating of database with required info to support above.
  • Ensuring quality standards according to internal guideline requirements and local safety regulations (EHS)
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Manage customer escalations internal and external
  • Ensure that internal reporting tools are updated with the project progress and forecast dates. Ensure partner and internal daily progress updates .
  • Propose further enhancements on the work flow tools and processes related to the provisioning part to increase team efficiency . Monitor agreed SLA’s .
  • Contribute to budget preparation within scope of responsibility .
  • Collaborate with Site permitting, Real Estate management, infrastructure back office as well as NIS responsible to elaborate solutions on upcoming project issues.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Ensure and monitor project acceptance with customer and ensure all required information is transmitted to Commercial Team for invoicing on due time
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil works/architecture/Telecommunication/IT) or equivalent experience
  • Proven working experience in project delivery in IT/Telco industry
  • Ability to handle suppliers with effective performances results and cost control focus
  • Excellent Clients-Landlords facing communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrate flexibility and capable to work under pressure with target oriented attitude
  • Availability to work on field
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Awareness of Local regulations ( engineering projects)
  • Above-average user of general office software (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Organisational talent: set the right priorities and keep an eye on the essentials.
