FPT Motorenforschung AG in Arbon has around 250 highly qualified employees working

Industrial, the site is involved in developing future powertrain solutions (not only in

electrified powertrains, hybrids and fuel cells, but also novel engines concepts and

alternative fuels) and is therefore at the forefront of a transition towards a future of

alternative propulsion systems.

We would like to fill the following position as soon as possible:

Innovation Engineer ICE & Alternative Fuels

Your tasks

• Work on the pre-development of innovative ICE engine concepts within Systems
  

/ Open Innovation department

• Contribute to the scouting of ideas for Open Innovation
• Carry on testing and simulations of ICE innovative combustion process with also
  

alternative fuels

• Carry on projects independently being the point of contact within Systems / Open
  

Innovation for ICE and alternative fuels

Your profile

• Mechanical engineering degree
• 5-10+ years of experience
• Experience on ICE combustion and alternative fuels (DME, Hydrogen)
• Experience with testing and simulation of ICE
• Experience on project leading and flexibility towards further alternative propulsion
  

systems (eMotor, FCell)

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
  

(German not mandatory, but willing to learn)
