To support our finance department at our headquarters in Schaffhausen, we are looking for an

INTERN INDUSTRIAL CONTROLLING

(M/F/X — 100%)

Reporting to the team lead industrial controlling, the industrial controlling intern supports the controlling department at headquarters in the financial reporting tasks. She/he contributes to the elaboration of dashboards & presentations to follow-up on various business decisions and projects. The intern works closely with the operations teams (procurement, sales & production), as well as the other finance team members.

Start: October 2021

Duration: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly closing procedure: update and complete monthly reports for operations’ KPIs such as productivity, non-quality costs and stock evolution
  • Support the annual standard cost calculation as well as participate in the operations Budget planning process
  • Monitor the brand inventory in detail (for Headquarters and distribution entities) for actuals and all planning periods with focus on safety stocks, coverage and other KPIs
  • Contribute actively in Finance department projects with the development of new tools & procedures to improve the financial reporting
  • Preparation of performance data for products, departments, or investments

Your Profile

  • Be currently involved in an academic program or recently graduated, with specialization in Finance / Economics
  • First experience in manufacturing / production controlling is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and able to see the big picture
  • Advanced within MS Office programs, specifically MS Excel, experience with SAP is a plus
  • Curious in nature and always looking to question, learn, and look for better ways to do things
  • Team player and self-motivated with ability to work autonomously
  • Fluent in German and English
