Intern Judicial Bodies

As the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world we lead the way in the sport and event industry.

We are now looking for a Intern Judicial Bodies that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.

These are your key tasks:
  • Assist in the interpretation any kind of legal documents, e.g. contracts related to players’ employment and transfers, FIFA regulations, Swiss law, etc.
  • Revise any kind of matter relating to Sport law transfer and employment litigations that are submitted to the FIFA competent bodies.
  • Deal with legal issues of any kind providing a thorough and appropriate interpretation or legal opinion to requests coming from other departments in connection to legal matters.
  • Assist in the edition and evaluation judgements / decisions/regulations/templates/FIFA presentations, etc.
  • This includes working and updating a dedicated platform with all the relevant information and the potential reports deriving from this activity.
  • Assist in the preparation protocols and analyzing processes in connection to legal proceedings, e.g. the decision making process for the Disciplinary Committee, Appeal Committee, FIFA Ethics Committees, etc., in accordance with the relevant regulations
  • Assist to give written and/or oral advice on the regulations as well as on general legal issues to players, clubs, member associations, agents, legal advisors, etc.
  • Assist the line manager to act on behalf of FIFA before Court of Arbitration of Sport


The specific competencies we require for this position are:
  • University degree in law
  • Attorneys degree an asset
  • Experience in legal services in an international environment an asset
  • Legal experience in sport related associations an asset
  • Staying power
  • Accuracy and quality orientation
  • Ability to separate essentials/main issues from side-issues
  • Self-confidence and diplomacy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility and mobility
  • Team work capabilities
  • Political feeling combined with stamina
  • Interest in football
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in any other FIFA language (F / ES / GER) is an asset
  • Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel
