The Swiss Financial Lines underwriting team is looking for a student to support the underwriters in various administrative activities. This is a part-time internship position at 80% limited for 6 months.

  • Preparation of policy documents and invoices, obtaining dual signatures and autonomous mailing to clients and brokers
  • Registration of new business submissions and pre-population of information in the digital underwriting system
  • Preparation of proposals for the premium allocation of international insurance programs in coordination with the responsible underwriter and the policy file
  • Communicate with clients and brokers by phone and e-Mail; forward messages to the responsible underwriter
  • Drafting of accompanying letters to clients and brokers
  • Checking of premium bookings and payments received in coordination with the accounting and operations teams in Munich
  • Reminder to clients that have not paid the premium due on the basis of a monthly list
  • Checking of various lists for reporting purposes, including the preparation of summaries / feedback to the team

  • Currently enrolled in (or planning to attend in the immediate future) a business or law university with the aim of achieving a bachelor or master degree
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (mainly Word; advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills are helpful)
  • Active team player
  • Self-organized, structured and efficient way of working
  • Ideally working experience in an international company before
  • Fluent German and English

  • Work permit for Switzerland is required.
