Internal Community ManagerCorporate CommunicationsBaar, SwitzerlandWe are looking for an experienced Community Manager to handle and manage Glencore’s internal community platform. Working on the delivery of internal and change communications strategy, to help raise awareness of relevant news and business updates and drive desired behaviours and culture change across the Group and supporting on the management of internal communities and the adoption of Glencore’s new digital workplace (employee intranet and app) is key task for this role.The main tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Support in the execution of the Group internal and change communications strategy, through campaign planning and creation of relevant and impactful communication materials.
  • Provide internal and change communication guidance and support to other teams, as necessary.
  • Support with the internal communications of issues and management of crises, as necessary.
  • Help plan and organise employee events at our headquarters, such as workshops, town halls, etc.
  • Help produce materials for a variety of channels including:
  • Community posts for the Group’s intranet
  • Videos, animations, and graphics
  • Employee emails
  • Support in the roll-out and adoption of the new digital workplace (intranet and employee app) by:
  • Supporting in the creation of clear and actionable community guidelines
  • Encouraging use of the platform (both via communities of interest and corporate news)
  • Assist in managing online communities and distributing news about the communities
  • Helping organise and participate in events to boost awareness of the community platform
  • Responding to requests from employees
  • Helping track relevant community metrics and adoption goals for the digital workplace
Qualifications and requirements:
  • At least 5+ years in internal and change communications including proven work experience as a community manager for at least 2 years
  • Experience in launching internal community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, managing internal campaigns, etc.)
  • Proven success in supporting internal communications and change management programmes in complex organisations.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments across multiple geographies.
  • Prior management of complex projects.
