To support our growth and extend our activity, we are looking for an International Automotive Purchaser.

Reporting to the Procurement Director, the International Automotive Purchaser will be primarily responsible for developing the regional sourcing strategy to reach company and procurement objectives. The International Automotive Purchaser will be accountable for all end-to-end Procurement activities related to its region.

It holds offices in Switzerland, France, Germany and The Netherlands. As a group, Delta provides an end-to-end solution for consumers and professionals to buy or sell a new car. The auto‑dealer.com brand focusses fully on the consumer and is a primary growth driver for the future. Auto-Source is our B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) platform enabling car dealers to buy and sell new cars.

Your Role
  • Define the regional prospection strategy
  • Analyze the gap between the need and our current supply network and turn it into an action plan.
  • Run the action plan to close the gap and reach the volume objectives
  • Place stock order to build the inventory considering the timing and cash flow situation.
  • Identify and approach new potential suppliers, put in place a selection process.
  • Owner and accountable for the supplier relationship, you will support the operative buyers in specific day-to-day tasks.
  • Put in place a Service Level Agreement with strategic vendors and review the performance yearly.
  • Monitor the sourcing activities such as spending, tracking order, volume, inventory, and payments.
  • Maintain market intelligence on market trends, dealers, brands, and any macroeconomics factors.
  • Hunting for specials bargains/promotion and liaising with the central team.
  • Report activity on a structured way and weekly basis.
Profile
  • University degree in business administration, supply chain and/or procurement.
  • At least three years of experience in relevant purchasing or selling positions (products and services).
  • Behave as an ethical procurement specialist.
  • Knowledge in the automotive industry will be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Strong business acumen, solution provider, and result-oriented.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Team spirit and able to deal with a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Fluent in English and one of the following languages: Hungarian, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Croatian, German, Romanian…
Business trips 30% of the time in Europe.

Job-based in Switzerland next to Lausanne.
