The Cartier Supply Chain Compliance department is part of the international Cartier Supply Chain and aims at preventing any Supply Chain disruption of market access for all Cartier products distributed worldwide in a fast-moving regulatory environment.

MAIN PURPOSE

Part of the International Cartier Supply Chain team, you are responsible for the Maison Supply Chain Compliance. Your strategic vision enables you to define, implement and monitor the overall Compliance function and roadmap of the Maison. You drive the change to elevate the Maison compliance into a strategic pillar and you ultimately represent the Compliance voice of the Maison. You are the pivot of the Maison Compliance teams, therefore you manage a multicultural Compliance team with a extended Compliance network: Cartier manufactures, suppliers, Cartier central functions, Cartier markets and multiple Richemont teams (group Compliance, Industry, Legal, Taxes…)

Key Responsibilities

Ensure every product released to the markets is fully compliant:
  • Aggregate and provide constant up-to-date regulatory intelligence to all manufacture’s through various sources in a pro-active manner
  • Ensure a proper governance is in place and running for all product developed in the Maison
  • Ensure all product information, certification and testing is always delivered on time according to the group guidelines prior to worldwide distribution
  • Implement the right solution to foster the Maison agility and reduce time-to-market for compliance related matters
Responsible for a dedicated Cost Center and manage an international Product Compliance team with managerial and functional reporting:
  • Manage a team of 3 people with direct reporting
  • Manage functional reporting throughout the Maison Compliance network
  • Define and update the Compliance job descriptions of the Maison Compliance network (trough manufacture to markets) and look for adhoc profiles
  • Responsible for a dedicated Compliance cost center
Develop and animate the Maison Compliance network with internal and external stakeholders:
  • Represent the Maison Compliance in front of the group, in front of administrative authorities and in front of external partners (suppliers, customers, laboratories…)
  • Nurture the Maison Compliance network to ensure great communication and collaboration within the network
  • Develop strong partnerships with the group key teams (Product & Trade Compliance, Chemical Centers, Legal teams, Group Taxes…)
  • Improves the coordination and speed of implementing new ideas throughout the Compliance network
Enforce all group and Maison directives for all product lines:
  • Responsible for ensuring full implementation of all group directives in all circumstances
  • Implement new directives in a timely manner
  • Provide reporting and KPIs to the group regarding the Maison adherence to the group templates

JOB PROFILE

Education

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • MBA or master’s degree in management is a plus

Required Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing in the luxury environment or in consulting.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing an international team
  • Proven experience in important decisions making and gatekeeper functions
Technical skills / abilities:

  • Leadership in a international environment
  • Management of a multi-cultural team
  • Lead meetings composed of various skilled people: scientists, product development, innovation teams, ExCo members, …
  • Knowledge of various information systems (SAP, PLM, SharePoint, Excel…)
  • Fluent in French/English
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
