ASP is searching for an International Trade Compliance Analyst for ASP’s Global Trade Compliance (“GTC”) Program.This role can be home based anywhere is Switzerland.The International Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for conducting analysis, developing compliance programs, and providing administrative support for global imports and exports.Are you ready for a rare, challenging and exciting opportunity to help build a global trade compliance program for a large multi-national company from the ground up? You ready to join the journey?Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure records are properly retained and internal record keeping procedures are followed for global imports and exports.
  • Monitor timeliness and accuracy of customs documentation and declarations with a specific focus on preferential trade.
  • Collect, enter, analyze and present data using ERP systems, spreadsheets, databases, and Powerpoints.
  • Process and resolve customs clearance related inquiries from customs brokers and internal business partners to ensure supply chain continuity.
  • Team with third party service providers, e.g., customs brokers, freight forwarders, etc., as necessary to implement and / or maintain outbound processes in support of ASP export operations.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across teams regarding Customs clearance status
  • Work closely with service providers to ensure on-time release and quickly resolve service issues
  • Monitor service performance identifying root cause of failure, counter-measuring and corrective action, leveraging Fortive Business Solutions (FBS) tools
  • Maintain accuracy in all functions
Education & Experience:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • One to three years’ experience related to Customs compliance or international logistics
  • Microsoft Office skills required with strong Excel skills preferred
  • Knowledge in cargo (air/ ocean/ truck) movement preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Detailed oriented and highly organized; ability to multi-task several projects at once.
  • Knowledge of classification, duty savings programs, export documentation and import shipment processing preferred
  • Understanding of distribution, logistics, proficiency in ERP systems, business software applications, reporting, analysis and visualization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, judgment, creativity, flexibility, and high motivation
