Intern Analyst (Pipeline)

Your role

Are you interested in corporate finance and M&A? Are you an innovative thinker? We’re looking for someone to:

  • Join our Northern European coverage team providing the full range of integrated investment banking products including M&A advisory, equity and debt capital markets, as well as leveraged financing
  • Work on a broad range of corporate finance and strategic topics, including industry trends and financial analysis and valuation
  • Develop pitch book presentations to recommend strategic options to clients
  • Support the team in the sourcing of new mandates, leveraging not only the bank’s internal but also external networks
  • Work closely with colleagues across the bank in other countries and industries across all our key products
  • Support our “One UBS for entrepreneurs” initiative, establishing a close collaboration between wealth management and investment banking for the benefit of our entrepreneurial clients

Your team

You’ll be working in our wealth management corporate finance coverage team based in Zurich and support the coverage of Northern European clients, with focus on Germany, Austria and UK.

We are a growing and successful team with a strong track record in mid- and large cap corporate finance transactions. You will be mainly advising family controlled (UHNWI) mid-market companies, growth companies and family offices in various sectors.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:
  • strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly
  • strong project management and execution track record
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • excellent German and English language skills
  • resilience and team player attitude, even in challenging circumstances

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
