This position is within the Ophthalmology team, part of the Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED) organization. You act act as complement to the Translational Medicine Leader and the Clinical Scientist. The role requires excellent analytical skills, interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication.

In this position, your main responsibilities will be
  • Development, maintenance, pro-active tracking & management of a high quality, ambitious, project plan; closely and transparently managing the critical path of the project
  • Facilitating discussion on project scenarios and options
  • Building effective team operation and positive team dynamic to succeed with milestone achievement
  • Develop scientific expertise as per project needs

Who you are

We are looking for a medical student with at least master’s degree with experience in ophthalmology or medical imaging analysis or currently enrolled in a PhD or MD in a relevant scientific field (e.g. Ophthalmology, Imaging Analysis).

Moreover, you are
  • Experienced in ophthalmology
  • Comfortable/experienced with data review, data cleaning, data capture, monitoring and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and time-management skills to drive quality results
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization with non-co-located teams
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Experienced in supporting cross-functional project teams
