Our Internship Program is open to students who want to gain practical experience in one of the various career fields at the heart of the financial services industry. Over the course of this in-depth, comprehensive program you make valuable contributions to the bank’s work, develop skills, expand your knowledge and grow in confidence. You participate in exclusive events, shadowing days, real-world business challenges and demanding tasks to extend your experience and create valuable networks in the bank and the wider sector. By the end of the program you gain a rich, varied insight into our work at Credit Suisse and the industry in general.

Start date: 1st of September 2022 or by arrangement

Duration: 6 months

Academic requirements:Undergraduate degree with strong academic achievements required, ideally in Banking, Finance, Economics, Management or other related fields.

Your field of responsibility

In this role we are looking for someone to support the Global Trading Solutions (GTS) Strategy & Business Initiatives team in executing and tracking strategic priorities. Our interns work closely with Senior Management, get exposure to the businesses of GTS, expand their knowledge of the Investment Banking universe and have the opportunity to develop both soft and hard skills. They typically help the Business Strategy team in organizing and creating presentations, running ad-hoc business management requests, and running independently smaller scale projects. In addition, interns have the opportunity to spend time with our trading & sales desks, thus gaining exposure to our front businesses.

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievements required, ideally in Banking, Finance, Economics, Management or other related fields.
  • Highly motivated, flexible can-do attitude and can take last-minute schedule changes in your stride
  • Excellent conceptual, analytic and communication skills
  • Ability to package complex materials for senior audiences, with well-structured storylines and clear navigation
  • Strong interest in the Financial Services industry
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
  • Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing), French / German skills an advantage, but not a must
