In this role, you are to define and manage the actions directly or indirectly influencing the inventory of the site Visp for all types: Finished, WIP and Raw materials. This position owns the respective management tools such as action tracker, reporting and detailed analysis on inventory deviations, gaps to target. You are responsible for the governance of the inventory management across all value streams.Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable to ensure the execution according the high-quality requirements (security / quality / environment / costs / availability): Inventory target setting, Inventory reporting, Inventory performance monitoring, Inventory management
  • Ensure and govern together with the Supply Chain leads the inventory target setting process in alignment with the BUs, Global Supply Chain guidance and Visp site requirements.
  • Report the inventory situation regularly, accurately and ensure comprehensive and on time update of Progress Tracker, weekly inventory update, outlook and delta analysis
  • Ensure inventory performance monitoring/management in alignment and with guidance from Supply Chain leads.
  • Manage the inventory and related tasks regarding PO management, MRP, stock management and support interaction with external suppliers and within the Lonza network.
Key Requirements
  • University degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or similar areas
  • Profound Experience in inventory management preferably in Pharma/Biotech industry or Chemicals/FMCG
  • Good knowledge of SAP (MM etc) and MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Business Fluent German and English
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
