About The Investment Analyst Internship Program

You will have the opportunity to join PMI’s global Investment team based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The team’s ambitious targets include expansion of the company’s size and capabilities, including in areas of ‘Beyond Nicotine’. The role offers access to senior deal-makers and management, exciting strategy and investment projects, and exposure to sectors including tobacco, technology, pharma, consumer healthcare, sustainability and others. Key Requirements
  • Currently studying for Bachelor/Master/MBA degree in a finance-related field (Business, Management, Finance, Economics etc.)
  • Clear evidence of previous experience of working in a finance and/or investment-related role (either as intern or full-time)
  • Strong academic background
  • Strong Excel modelling and valuation skills
  • Mastery of MS Office applications; experience with further analytical tools a plus
  • Written and oral fluency in English; other local languages are an asset

Roles & Objectives
  • Assist team members on deal executions, including process management, financial modelling, investment committee materials preparation etc.
  • Work on assigned strategic projects with set deadlines and deliverables incl. final project presentation(s) to key stakeholders
  • Desktop as well as primary research in assigned focus areas
  • Organisation of meetings and events with external parties / organisations
  • Monitoring and updating of portfolio databases and information banks
  • Other ad hoc deal & project related assignments
