Your field of responsibility


A challenging position in Investment Banking Advisory (IBA), focusing on both origination and execution. Involvement in mid-market transactions across EMEA. Participation in a highly international team enabling strategic dialogue among large entrepreneurs, private equities and strategic investors. Close collaboration with investment banking, lending and coverage teams across Credit Suisse. Great exposure to M&A transactions, direct contact to business owners, management and other advisors. Exceptional responsibility to work alongside senior bankers and industry specialists. A platform for you to be creative and to build-up a career within a dynamic and state-of-the-art organization.

In this role, you will coordinate with senior coverage officers to come up with new ideas to pitch to companies. Support creation and preparation of client presentations and marketing materials while providing mentorship to Analysts. Produce documents for CS internal approval processes. You will assist in managing transactions and help management teams craft the storyline to position their companies for sale. Guide Analysts on building complex financial models that help companies understand how they are valued by the market and follow an industry to learn the key drivers and trends that influence companies’ decisions. Prepare and manage data-rooms and due diligence on behalf of clients. You will be a liaison between different advisors, lawyers, accountants and other stakeholders involved.

Your skills and experience


In addition to a completed graduate degree program in a relevant field as well as previous full-time work experience with a top tier investment bank or an advisory firm, interested candidates must also demonstrate:

  • Excellent corporate finance, accounting, financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Ability to produce ’client-ready’ written materials and present these in a measured, clear and articulate way
  • Solid sell-side and buy-side M&A skill-set across all work-streams and transaction phases
  • Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively coordinate and contribute to a team effort, including guiding junior team members, communicating with seniors on all levels and seamlessly working with other CS teams worldwide
  • Understands the value of diversity in the workplace and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life so that people from all backgrounds receive equal treatment, realize their full potential and can bring their full, authentic selves to work
