In this unique role, you will act as Roche spokesperson to institutional investors and the financial community in general. You will be facilitating the two-way communication between financial analysts, investors and shareholders on the one hand and company management on the other hand.



Your main responsibilities

  • Act as contact person to institutional investors and financial analysts concerning the company’s Pharmaceutical pipeline (phase I, II & III products)

  • Liaise within Roche’s and Genentech’s R&D departments to keep up to date with all Pharmaceutical pipeline products, and ensure sharing of relevant information internally within the IR department

  • Build the financial community’s understanding and appreciation of Roche’s Pharmaceutical pipeline

  • Organize and provide quarterly pipeline appendix (clinical slide overview) as a result from the pre-quarter discussions with LCL’s and PTL’s

  • Provide IR feedback to annual report / interim report, and financial press releases; contribute to the quarterly investor presentation

  • Act as “back-up” on Roche Pharmaceuticals marketed products

  • Organise, participate and contribute to Roche scientific events at major congresses to detail important new data for the financial community

  • Liaise with internal groups - including Early R&D (gRED, pRED), Group Communications, Divisional Marketing, Clinical, Research, Group and Divisional Finance and Development personnel - in order to keep abreast of current and future information flow and to ensure consistent delivery of messaging across departments and to align strategies & actions plans

  • Analyse financial community sentiment, expectations and projections and brief senior management on issues arising/ that may arise

  • ​ Represent Roche’s IR position, value and strategies externally and within the company, voicing the needs of the institutional investors and the financial community


​These skills and competencies will help to be successful in this role

  • Strong science or medical background with 3-5 years working in Pharmaceuticals or an associated field

  • Ability to network and liaise with a wide variety of groups in order to gain and share information

  • Strong communication skills, including ability to explain and present difficult scientific concepts and data in a manner understandable by the financial community

  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) with strong skills in Powerpoint presentation design

  • Fluent in English, both oral and written

  • Ability to travel including to US
