  • Manages projects, requirements and escalations seamlessly according to the global targets and strategy. Supports implementation of operational tactics supporting the business.
  • Manages local IT projects, services and processes at both tactical and operational levels, understands and applies IT best practice to assess, review, manage and monitor IT services and products.
  • Collaborates with the Site IT Management, internal and 3rd party IT supplier to align business requirements and IT systems and processes
  • Identifying and implementing existing IT infrastructure technology in the context of IT solutions/services, sharing knowledge and depending on seniority - guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IT infrastructure technology and business requirements.
  • Getting involved in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions/services in regards of infrastructure knowledge.
  • Supporting the installation of new IT solutions/services in regards of the required infrastructure.
  • Delivering the appropriate IT solution/service infrastructure according to agreed solution with the business and local IT manager, in time, in budget and at quality.
  • Supporting the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IT solutions/services infrastructure requirements.
  • Executing all actions in IT processes according to agreed RACIS specification.
  • Ensuring others comply with Hitachi Energy IT Enterprise Architecture.
  • Providing leadership to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice normally without carrying line responsibility
Your background
  • Professional experience of IT infrastructure technology within the relevant IT domain.
  • Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar.
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Profound IT infrastructure technology knowledge combined with basic understanding of the overall context of business processes and the IT technologies impact.
  • Experience of identifying and resolving IT infrastructure technology related problems.
  • Experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle.
  • Profound knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Teamworking and result oriented.
