Proclinical are recruiting an IT Automation Consultant for a pharmaceutical establishment. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Boudry. The client is focused on finding, evolving and distributing novel treatments to assist patients triumph over serious illnesses.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple automation, IT, manufacturing and QA shareholder to implement the day-today operational actions and sustain the systems in an acquiescent state.
  • Participate in a solid culture of corporation veracity and values.
  • Conduct one’s self in compliance and within legal necessities as well as within the organisation’s regulations.
  • Execute corrective activities as outlined by the aberration management or the change control process which may involve automation code changes, evaluation, design document updates and re-consent, SOP updates and coaching.
  • You will handle commissioning and qualification actions such as SAT, IQ, OQ for the 2022 outlines projects linked to automation systems.
  • Self-sufficiently operate and oversee the actions of vendors.
Skills & Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline correlating to automation, bio or chemical processing.
  • At least 2 years of experience within a pharmaceutical/biotech setting with automation systems.
  • Automation systems experience.
  • Know-how of particular manufacturing systems such as serialisation software, building management system, room monitoring system, etc.
  • Pharma/biotech procedures, utilities, HVAC equipment knowledge.
  • Conscious of organisation 4.0 and pertinent topics.
  • Comprehension of IEC 61131, ISA-88 and ISA-95 Standards.
  • Knowledge of SCADA software and PLC SUCH AS Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc., as well as any other platforms would be beneficial.
  • Computer networking and fieldbus knowledge.
  • Troubleshooting capabilities with an understanding of electrical and P&ID standards.
  • Consciousness of 21-CFR Part 11, Eudralex, MHRA, as well as of company and enterprise architecture.
  • Acquaintance with GMAO software and IT Ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Comprehension of GxP/GAMP/Data Integrity practices.
  • Capable of managing various tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to think analytically and write reports/documents efficiently.
  • Capable of giving presentations with the ability to facilitate, deliberate, cooperate and communicate.
  • Ability to work well under pressure within a multi-cultural setting at any level within the organisation along with various shareholders.
  • Fluency in the French and English languages.
