We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst on behalf of our client based in Baar, Switzerland.

IT – Data Analytics & reporting

We are looking for a candidate to join our Business Intelligence Platform team. You will be responsible for eliciting and analyzing requirements, specification of changes, supporting developers during implementation, coordinating integration tests, as well as running UAT with business users. We are a highly motivated and experienced team, and we are looking for a new team member to join us as we embark on a new and exciting phase of our journey.

The main tasks and responsibilities include:

Analysis, planning and support of implementations for our Business intelligence
Platform

Closely working with the business and the various controlling functions to understand change requests

Elicitation of requirements and stakeholder management

Analysis of source system data and reverse engineering of existing data extracts/Report to create new reporting requirement for the platform

Qualifications and requirements:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent).

Has prior experience working as a business analyst.

Fluency in English (corporate language), both spoken and written.

Has excellent communication skills and a customer service mentality.

Has a good understanding of Oracle and can write SQL queries to analyse data.

Experience with Data warehousing and reporting is a plus.

The ideal candidate is:

Is a team player who can both collaborate and personally take ownership of tasks.

Open to the sharing of ideas and to open dialog to find the best and most pragmatic solutions possible.

Knowledgeable about business analysis methodologies (certification is a bonus, e.g.
IIBA, CBAP).

A good communicator and has Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate and negotiate with all levels of the business and IT.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
